Kole as Bob the builder in snowpants and vest. We had to finally had to hide the winter coats and pants. He likes to wear warm clothes still. It was 90 degrees the day he dressed like this. Cracks me up. Kaci showed him how to do it. We know now that Kaci will need new snow pants. Hers were 5 inches too short from last winter!

Bob the Builder is Kole's favorite character, right up there with Elmo and Thomas the Tank Engine.

It is really funny. Kole has learned what irritates Kaci the most and does it. Kali knows how to irritate Kaci and helps Kole to do it. Kaci knows how to get the other two going so some days it is a real zoo around here! They are definitely acting like siblings. Boyd is still adjusting to staying home during the day with the three of them and hasn't quite figured out who is manipulating who so I come home and lay down the law. School starts next month for Kali and Kaci. Kole will start Pre-K in September. Next month Kole and I make the train ride to Chicago for his first dental surgery. I think it will be his one and only until he is 8 or 9 years old. But it depends on how things go in his growth. He is growing. Some 4 T are still a bit big on him, but the way he eats they will catch up.

Kole finally sat with me and rested his head on me and I could feel his body relax. That is a first. He usually stays a little tense and ready to spring if he needs to. That could come from his dad tickling him every time he gets too relaxed. He loves being read to and wants to know what those marks on the pages are. He can count to 8 in English and tries his ABC's. He hasn't learned many children's songs in English yet, but that will come too.

He is catching up emotionally and can repeat back the rules to us with some idea of what we are saying. The big one is "I can not go in street cause I am 4" This came after he was caught in the street and almost hit by a truck. I did not know he had gone outside. Since his dad was outside, he didnt' ask. (which he does) His dad was mowing the yard and when he turned on the mower he saw Kole in the street and the truck swerve to miss him. Well, Kole lost bike privledges for the rest of that day and he couldn't understand why... So we explained like I heard that Amy Tan's mom said to Amy at a young age "You go in street, you get hit by truck, you die" LOL He got it...strange.... I KNOW.... I probably scared him half to death... but it keeps him out of the street without a harness and leash. LOL

Well, that is all for now. I am sure I will think of something more.

Did I mention he smiles with teeth a lot now. Not just occasionally. And he is calling me mama again. Instead of hey.
