Well, things have been really busy around here with the end of the school year. Things are finally starting to feel normal around here, if there can be anything like normal... Kole is understanding more each day and trying to talk more and more. He has been accepted to the pre-school program at our school and will be doing speech also. He will be visiting Shriner's hospital again in July to have his cavities taken care of.
He has really learned how to make his sisters mad. Especially Kaci.... He just picks at her until she tattles and then he tries to look all innocent... We know better because we saw him. It is kind of a poetic justice since Kaci was always bugging Kali..
Not much going on except just living. With the nice weather comes the neighbor kids. Never knew we had any until last year and this year.... WOW they have crawled out of the woodwork! We had 7 kids in the sandbox tonight burying each other in the sand. I have included a shot of that. The pictures are a bit dark, but it was getting close to 8:30 pm.
The girls went to swim at a neighbor's house and I took Kole over for his first exposure to a pool. He was o.k.on the steps leading to the shallow end. He would sit in the water, but didn't want to go out in it... He finally let Kali take him. He wasn't very comfortable with it. Kali is an excellant swimmer and very strong, otherwise I would never have allowed it... He did come out of the water after having a death grip on Kali... She was laughing because he was hanging on soo tight. I wish I had taken the camera over to get pictures of this. It was a lot of fun. OF course non of the kids were affected by the sun at all. I however, am a lobster! My first burn on the year. It will be my last. I burn once each summer and then just tan. Thank goodness. The girls don't get a chance to burn... I put so much sunscreen on them... Kole too.
Kole attended a Wedding for the first time. He was a regular little gentleman. He also jumped on a big trampoline for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed it. So did the girls. He had his first real bloody nose after he tripped and fell into a wooden playset. He is such a little man. He didn't even get upset about it... Just stood still while we stopped the bleeding and changed his shirt... Guess having a sister with bloody noses has helped.
He still tries to help Boyd drive at times. And loves to go anywhere. It can be just to go to the post office to mail stuff. He just likes to go. He even likes to go grocery shopping. Scary....
His favorite things to watch on TV are his two movies Elmo goes to the Doctor and Dora the Explorer. He likes to have us pop in our Follow me Jade videos that you can learn Mandarin with too.
