I thought I would introduce the other members of our family.
This is Tinkerbell our 6 year old kitty. She is a real hunter. For a kitty with no front claws she sure can catch the critters! She is looking up at some birds in this pic. The first day Kole was home, he saw her, yelled maow! and took off after her. She sleeps in his room now instead of ours. Tinkerbell came from our local Animal Protective League, no kill shelter as the runt of a litter at 12 weeks old. She is a wonderful kitty.
This is our shepard/chow mix, Tasha. She is 2 years old. She really likes Kole and the the girls. No one can get within feet of any of them if the person or animal is acting aggressive to them.
We were quite amazed that both pets took to Kole right away. Neither have tried to harm Kole in any way. Tasha has been gentle with Kole from the start. She came to us two years ago as a 15 pound 10 week old puppy. We knew she would be big. She was one of a litter of pups left at a veteranarian's office in a box. We had just lost our Rottie mix dog and we decided to replace her with this little bundle of fluff. She is all fur. When we have her shaved for summer, she looks like a hyena.
Well, there's the animal members of our house.
And no they do not get along. Tasha lives outside and Tinkerbell lives inside with occasional trips to the great outdoors to do the kitty things she does. Hopefully, Tasha is in her fenced yard or Tink gets a lot more exercise then she wants!
