Kole is adjusting better than we could have imagined. He stayed in bed last night until I got up, but I wake up extra early to charge my batteries with some caffeine, so after a potty stop, it was back to bed for him, which he did sleep. He actually came to me for something instead of Boyd. I took him to meet our daycare provider today and he did very well with the other kids and did a lot of playing on his own. He walks through the girls schools as if he owns the place when we pick them up at school. His favorite is still Boyd with Kali a close second, unless Kali wants attention from her dad. He gets very angry when the girls want dad's attention. But he is getting used to it. Kali had Kole saying "No, Baby" today. Over and over on the way to school this morning. she is so funny. Dad taught him to dribble a basketball today. I took Kole to the library to check out board books with trucks and tractors in them. His favorites.
Last night Kole met the neighbor kids and had a blast running around the house chasing each other and wrestling around. The neighbor kids are having fun too.
Kole understands and follows instructions such as : pick it up, throw it away, go potty?, drink?, Let's go, hold my hand, bedtime, leave it alone, be nice, no, good job, high five, give me five, where is your sister?
Pretty good for only being home less than a week and with us only since March 12.
