Kole is sleeping through night sometimes up to 11 hours. Boyd really enjoys bothering him and picking at him until he makes him mad. Then Kole will do something to make Boyd mad. Then I have to intervene and tell them both to stop.
We were able to acquire some tractors, trucks, and dinosaurs from a friend that I was talking to at a pool party the girls attended on Saturday. Instead of spending nearly $25 per truck we were able to acquire more for just $25. Then we went to toys R Us bought him a chartreuse 12" bicycle to ride around in the driveway with the girls. He loves riding their razor scooters around also. All great investments. Of course, Kali talked us into to new Gameboy SP, which we will work off the cost in labor. Kole gets right up next to the screen on it while she is playing her games. Makes Kali really mad. So, she pushes him away and he goes back for more.
So far today, we have had to shoo him out of the street a couple times. Good thing we live in a quiet subdivision and most people look for kids out. He is still enthralled with anything mechanical with a motor or engine.
He decided to try out the electric grinder yesterday to grind down sidewalk chalk after he had seen Boyd sharpen the lawn mower blade. He turned on the shop vac to try it out. Put his fingers under the upright vacuum while Boyd was vacuuming the floor. He keeps us very busy and on our toes.
Boyd made him mad this evening so he spit out gatorade on the floor, then he decided to add some urine to the bathroom floor. Then he wouldn't get his PJ's on. I think the wresting and stuff should end before bedtime. Hmmmm I am wondering who is worse at this point.
Kole repeated a commercial today. The commercial was about grape juice. At the end the girl says "It's Yummy" So Kole said it too. Baby steps. I could not get him to point at what he wanted to drink this morning, I tried for about 5 minutes and then gave up and gave him water. We have tried to get him to repeat words, like more, water, milk, juice, yes, no. But to no avail. He is not ready yet. We try and if he doesn't respond, we don't push it.
