3 weeks home

Well we have been home 3 weeks now and I have been back to work for 1 week. I really hated to go back, but needed to save my time off for future appointments. Kole has learned some of the routines we do here. Every morning when he wakes up, he makes his way to the bathroom first. Then comes out and kind of looks at us. We tell him good morning and start fixing his breakfast. His favorite breakfast items are mini pancakes with syrup or cinnamon spice oatmeal. Bananas too. He not fond of milk, but will drink the Danimals drinkable yogurt.
We have resorted to using a timer so that the girls can get some daddy lap time. Kole monopolizes it still. When Boyd is not here the girls and Kole play very nice, no melt downs and things run smoothly. I think the majority of the meltdowns are when Kole is tired or hungry.
The girls have started pulling mean tricks on Kole, so we have had to put a halt to what they think is just fun.
Boyd's favorite thing to do with Kole is tickle and wrestle around. One day he put a balloon up Kole's shirt like the girls do, and the results were crying. (see pic Kole lying on the floor).
He loves brownies, the fudge style, not cake style with chocolate frosting.(see pic Kole with brown stuff on him)
Today we had hail while I was at work. Boyd called to tell me that when he took the kids out afterwards to see the hail stones, Kole started to pick them up and eat them! He should have gotten a picture of that! Some new words are Hokey, Chocolate syrup, cute, and hey you!
Guess the hey cyou comes from the kids and me when he is ignoring us no matter what name we use. Well, my nickname for him has changed from bugger nose (no more snot) to bug. He seems to like that. The girsl each have one too. One is punkin, the other sweetie (of course I use both on both girls). I am also including a shot of Kaci and one with Kali sitting at the table with Kole during brownie time.
Boyd is doing really well with the kids during the day. The girls are rating him a 8 - 9 out of 10. Would be a 10 if they had more daddy time and Kole didn't take all his time. I think the adjustments are going better and once Kole starts speaking English I am sure we will get an ear full!
