Kole is speaking English better and better everyday. He wants to do anything and everything the girls are allowed to do. His favorite statement now is "Woo Hoo!" He gets really wound up and then we have to stop him before he hurts himself. At this moment the three of them are dancing around the family room to some CD they put in.
We meet next week to go over his IEP at school for speech services. I get the feeling they are going to say he doesn't need it, like they did for Kaci, who still has trouble with some sounds.
Kole is doing great in Pre-K. His worst bad times are when he is either over tired or hungry, but so is any other child and some adults. He still has an obsession with being on his dad all day if he can. Which of course started a fist fight last week. Kali ended it, Kole started it and Kaci was in the midst of it getting the worse of it. Well, needless to say, we have new boundries to stay within. Kole almost broke the screen door at the violin teacher's house, so until he can be gentle, he is not allowed to open screen doors at other people's homes. He can practice here first.
He wouldn't let me give him a kiss good-bye this morning like I do all the kids every morning when I work. After I left, he advised Boyd that I did not kiss him but I kissed Kali and Kaci. Boyd reminded him that he told me "no" when I tried. We will see what happens tomorrow.. See if he remembers that he wanted kisses too.
