New updates

I was going to wait until tomorrow until after our IEP meeting with the school for Kole's speech therapy, but oh well, I have not been as diligent as I was in updating our blog.

Kole had a milestone this week, he actually told me he was hungry. Instead of his usual let's see who I can tick off now until I either get put to bed or fed. He is progressing in Pre-K and really loving it. His current favorite book is The Gingerbread man. This took the place of The Very Hungry Catepillar. Kole decorated his first Pumpkin at Pre-K with dad assisting him.

We spent the night at my mom's house this past weekend and Kole really had fun playing with his 16 year old cousin. Phil just tucks the little bugger under his wing and off they go. He was able to meet up with his Uncles Blain, Brian, and Pat and Aunt Verna. He played iwth his cousins Philip, Sondra nad Brittany. He enjoyed a candle light dinner with us of homemade soup (the electricty was out for maintenance for a couple hours). All the kids had a new experience with that.

We celebrated his sister, Kaci's 7th birthday. She actually turns 7 tomorrow. He received a small package too with new hat and mittens and an Elmo in Grouchland dvd. He REALLY likes Elmo!

Kali has been teasing him lately and he gets embarrassed and leaves the room. It is kind of silly and cute, but I have to make them stop before it gets out of hand. That usually happens when Dad is around. He picks on the kids and gets them riled up after each other and then sits back to watch the show! Then someone gets hurt and he acts like he had nothing to do with it.. Their dad is ornery.

This week has been busy. Eye doctor appointments for the girls, I.E.P. for Kole and Band concert chilli supper for Kali. Then the Shriner's Circus is this weekend also! Plus the girls are both in a musical play and Kali has a small solo bit. They are both loving it and Kole is mad because he doesn't get to do it. He wants to do anything and everything that the girls do.

The testing is getting a little better, but we better not let our guard down, next week it could start all over again!
