Winter is here!

Kole's new hair cut.


Winter is here. That really nice warm weather is gone and it is cold! Kole doesn't weem to understand that T-shirt weather is over and he needs to layer. Of course, we have a tough time with Kaci in that area too and Kole really emulates off Kaci. Messy room, t-shirts in winter. Anything Kaci does, Kole wants to do it too, unless you tell him it is a girl thing. Then he wants nothing to do with that...





Last week we asked him to identitfy letters and he wouldn't or couldn't. This week he does it... I think he is trying to buffalo us. Most times he acts like he understands everything, then the next day he doesn't understand any of it. I think it is convenient forgetting.





This weekend I tried to get him to say Ni hao or Mama or even xie xie.


and he responded. NO! I no like them words. So I said to say Baba. He said and likes that word. The weiner...





Kole also had his first real professional at a hair cutters not on the front porch hair cut. He loved it! He was telling everyone that he got a hair cut. We asked if they could make bed head work for him. And it did! We add a little gel and mess it up and off he goes. By the time he is home it is flat, so he has the real stiff hair like Kali's is.





Kole advised me last week that his friend Joey got a yellow light at


Pre-K. I asked if he was with Joey. and he looked horrified and said "No! I be good at school, no get yellow light!" I guess maybe they seperated the two of them after all.





Kole has started jockeying for position again to get attention. He has actually started sitting on my lap. If it wasn't for the nasty, haha looks he gives his sisters when he does it, then it would be sweet. If he could just give affection without having to give the dirty looks to the girls, I could think he is really liking me. When it is Boyd, the girls pulled him away for a turn and he was in tears. Kaci was in tears yesterday because Boyd pushed her off to let Kole in... Sure can get frustrating... But all will work out or we will end up with someone in the emergency room.(smile)





We find out on the 26th how Kole is really doing in school. That would be our parent teacher conference day. I don't think 10 minutes is really going to cover everything.
