Well, Christmas Eve was a bustling night to get all ready for Santa's visit. We were sleeping so soundly, Boyd, myself and Mia (the puppy) when I hear whispering that went from a whisper to a normal voice. See the following interaction.
6:25 am Kaci: Dude, wake up, there are presents, it is 6:30. Dude! come on wake up.... Mom it's 6:30 you said...
Mom: your clock is wrong, it is 6:25
Boyd: Get the camera ready, is Kole awake...
Mom: no only Kaci. Well, Kaci and Kali were up admiring the gifts by tree light.
Kali: Pllleeaaase can we get our stockings?
Kaci: PPPPLLLLEEEAAASSSEE!
Mom: yeah, whatever (no coffee yet)
Dad: Where's Kole, shouldn't we wait for him
Mom: Girls go get Kole
Kole: uhhh (rubbing eyes), (My thought, don't get too excited you might go back to sleep....}
Then he turned to go to the bathroom. He came back and Boyd showed him the race track peices and he played with those while Kali and Kaci passed out gifts and ripped them open with out even seeing who they were from.
Kole opened one. It was clothes. He didn't even look at it. He did get a tracter with hay baler and other accesories and a contruction truck with buttons, a car city (200 pieces to assemble) books and a stuffed kitty (which didn't have wheels but he liked it anyway).
All in all it was good. Kole didn't really get it and just kind of took it as it was and then tonight he finally loved the Cars sweatsuit so much after he looked at it that he wore it to bed....
Kali received her bow and arrow set she wanted. plus a target for it and a rock collection, amber heart pendent (from China), ear rings and many other nice gifts
Kaci received a new blouse, she is a clothes horse. Earrings, Groovy girl doll accessories and many other things. Her very favorite was the play and pretend office set.
Grandma visited and stayed for three days. The kids were so happy! We were glad to have her too!
